
Yesterday, Petaluma police took 27-year-old Nicholas Schlager of Santa Rosa into custody on charges related to possession of illegal obscene material. Schlager was arrested while driving into Petaluma for work and had an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest, according to the Petaluma Police Department.
The arrest occurred at approximately 7:50 a.m. on Todd Road in Santa Rosa and Ross Street in Petaluma. Detectives had received a tip about Schlager, which led to the issuance of the search warrant. Detectives are sifting through electronic devices seized from Schlager's home. He's been booked on felony charge code 311.11(a) P.C., which involves the possession of images or data of individuals under 18 years of age engaged in sexual conduct. Schlager was booked at the Sonoma County Jail.
