
In a somber turn of events, a pedestrian fell victim to a hit-and-run incident in San Jacinto this past Sunday. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred at approximately 8:18 PM along Meridian Street, just south of Beringer Drive. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered a critically injured female being aided by bystanders on the roadside.
The victim, whose name has yet to be shared, was swiftly transported to a local hospital, where she remains in critical condition. The vehicle involved, identified as a compact, dark-colored, box-style SUV, did not stop, continuing instead southbound on Meridian Street after the impact, as detailed by the Sheriff’s Office.
