Parents in Seattle can relax as child care during school breaks is now available. Seattle Schools have announced a new lineup of School-Age Care Break Camps for kids ages 5-12, featuring a variety of activities focused on arts, sports, and outdoor play to keep children engaged and active.
According to the Seattle government website, registration is now open for November conference day care, so parents should secure a spot soon to avoid last-minute scrambles. Early registration is also available for Winter, Mid-Winter, and Spring breaks. Scholarships are offered, emphasizing the city's commitment to inclusivity.
The cost for the November conference days camp from Friday to Sunday is $80 per day. For Winter break, Week 1 (December 23-27, excluding Christmas Day) costs $320, and Week 2 (December 30 to January 3, excluding New Year’s Day) is also $320.
Seattle Schools have not overlooked the random single days off. For Mid-Winter break, there’s a program from February 18-21 for $320. During spring break, a full-week program from April 14-18 will cost $400. Having these options is essential for families.
