On Sunday evening, Seattle police arrested an armed person involved in drug dealing. Details provided by SPD Blotter suggest a 35-year-old man was caught red-handed at 3rd Avenue and Pike Street, dealing in goods believed to be stolen—a violation that only scratched the surface of his illicit activities.
Patrol officers, who made the arrest at approximately 8:32 p.m., stumbled upon a trove of contraband upon further investigation. The inventory from the scene included not only a spring blade knife and a Colt .380 semi-automatic handgun but also an assortment of drugs, with 23 grams of methamphetamine, 58.6 grams of fentanyl, and 126.4 grams of what is suspected to be M30 fentanyl pills. However, the suspect was also found with, 5 pills of suspected Xanax, a worrying indication of the variety of narcotics circulating on the streets.
The Seattle police found more than narcotics; the individual was also in possession of a backpack crammed with small baggies, $80 in cash, and several counterfeit $100 bills. Officers further recovered items believed to be stolen property, spanning from clothing to shoes and electronics.
The SPD has taken decisive action against the perpetrator, booking him into King County Jail on multiple charges. These include Possession/Sale/Delivery of Narcotics, Possession of Dangerous Weapons, and Carrying a Weapon without a Permit. To strengthen the case, detectives from the General Investigations Unit were called in to assist, as disclosed by SPD Blotter.
