
This morning, Seminole County firefighters were dispatched to a scene where power was not merely cut but plunged to the ground. According to a Seminole County Fire Department post, units responded to the incident at approximately 5:49 a.m. on 316 Forest Ave in Altamonte. Electrical lines, carriers of modern vitality, had succumbed to an unspecified failure and descended amongst the trees.

The SCFD quickly secured the area to protect everyone from live wires and flammable materials risks. Fortunately, much of the fire went out independently, as nature helped. The situation was then turned over to the power company, marking the end of immediate dangers and the start of recovery efforts for affected residents.
Residents affected by the downed power lines may experience disruptions as the power company works to repair the damage.
