While inbound trains resumed movement around 10:10 a.m., albeit with bypasses of Lake Cook Road and Deerfield stations, they experienced delays of 15 to 20 minutes, particularly inbound train #2128 which was slated to arrive in Chicago's Union Station at 10:28 a.m.
