A tragic incident occurred early this morning when a 22-year-old man riding a skateboard was struck and killed by a vehicle in Wyoming, Michigan. According to WOODTV, the crash happened near the intersection of Burlingame Avenue SW and 36th Street, around 1:40 a.m.
The Wyoming Police Department reported that the young man was skateboarding in the travel lanes at the time of the accident which may have contributed to the collision, no further details regarding the cause of the crash, such as whether alcohol or speed played a role, have been disclosed at this time.
