A fatal incident occurred in Ocala National Forest on Sunday when a 59-year-old man from Sorrento crashed his dirt bike into a pair of trees. According to Click Orlando, the Florida Highway Patrol indicated that the accident happened around 11:10 a.m. on a dirt road in the forest, where the man was riding his KTM dirt bike before the collision.
The aftermath of the crash was severe, the rider was ejected from his vehicle and he was subsequently taken to AdventHealth Waterman, the distress of the situation culminating in his untimely passing as he was pronounced dead at the hospital, an unfortunate end to what was likely a leisurely pursuit turned tragic.
