Two teenagers from Spring Branch were taken into custody this past Thursday, implicated in a series of violent incidents that rattled the local community earlier in the month. Mason Alexander, 18, along with a 14-year-old whose identity has been withheld due to his age, stand accused of being involved in shootings on sequential days, as reported by the Comal County Sheriff's Office cited by Heal-Zeitung.

The investigation unfolded rapidly after deputies arrived on the scene at approximately 12:25 p.m. last Sunday in the 1700 block of Western Skies Drive, responding to a call of gunfire. According to KSAT, "someone stopped a vehicle near a house, and another person inside the car began shooting toward the property." A victim was shot in the leg during the incident and subsequently received hospital treatment. The Comal County Sheriff’s Office has since connected both Alexander and the minor to another shooting that took place the day before, last Saturday.

The suspects are facing severe charges, and physical evidence has also placed Alexander and juvenile companion at the scenes of crime. Alexander has been processed into the Comal County Jail, and the younger suspect was taken to a juvenile detention facility, as per KSAT.
