As we navigate through Monday, the skies are anticipated to clear, giving way to a sunny day with highs around 69 degrees, as detailed by the National Weather Service's detailed forecast. The light winds from the west-southwest will pick up slightly in the afternoon. Come nightfall, the temperatures are expected to dip to a low near 53 under partly cloudy skies.
Moving into Tuesday and Wednesday, the region will see a continuation of the sunny trend, with high temperatures gently climbing to a peak of about 74 degrees midweek before taking a marginal dip. The National Weather Service San Francisco office has noted in their synopsis that improved humidities are to be enjoyed today, paving the way for a quiet week ahead, at least until that slight chance of rain appears as we approach the weekend.
By Thursday, conditions are still forecasted to be mostly sunny, hitting highs of about 76 degrees. However, as we edge toward Friday, the narrative shifts slightly, introducing the potential for drizzle and a modest rise in ocean moisture. This aligns with thoughts shared by the NWS San Francisco, indicating an increased chance of measurable rain, especially in the North Bay area, with other locales potentially witnessing some coastal drizzle. Such weather fluctuations are not entirely out of place in our ever-dynamic Bay Area climate. However, the ensemble guidance suggests a more weather pattern could be on the horizon as November begins. However, specific details remain mired in a state of uncertainty.
The maritime community can also expect moderate northwesterly winds early in the week, which, combined with the high-pressure system, should yield favorable marine conditions through most of the week, as noted by the latest marine update released on NWS San Francisco. Small craft advisories have been implemented for parts of the coast, a usual precaution as the wind patterns take hold.
