Friday will bring a slight drop in temperatures with a high near 79, while the subsequent nights maintain mostly clear skies with lows in the mid-50s, as detailed by the NWS website.
While no hazardous weather is expected today or tonight, the National Weather Service has highlighted a low chance of thunderstorms late Thursday over far north-central Oklahoma. Additionally, very dry vegetation combined with above-average temperatures and gusty winds could elevate fire weather conditions in parts of northern Oklahoma on Thursday and across northern and western Oklahoma next Monday.
The weekend ahead appears to offer more sunny days with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. The weather service advises the public to stay aware of the conditions and has provided graphics and additional details on their website for those planning outdoor activities or concerned about potential fire hazards.
