Last Friday evening, a bold robbery unfolded in the 1000 Block of E. Main Street as a suspect made away with merchandise from a local business. According to the Columbus Division of Police's media release, the individual proceeded to exit through the rear of the store, where an accomplice reportedly brandished a firearm at the store's manager before they all fled.
The suspect in the shoplifting incident is described as a light-skinned male, possibly of African American descent. He was noted to be wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, and a white and blue hat during the incident. The report included photos of the suspect and indicated that three additional suspects were waiting in a getaway vehicle outside.
