
A teenage boy, after an overnight shooting incident near a North Houston church, is expected to recover. The shooting took place at the juncture of Vickery Drive and Aldine Mail Route Road, as reported by CW39. Found with multiple gunshot wounds, a 17-year-old male victim was discovered according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies who responded to the scene around 1 a.m. Shortly afterward, in the teenager's vehicle, another victim who had also been shot was found.
The second victim also shot, was inside the teenager's car, indicating a dual casualty event. Both victims were transported to hospitals and are expected to pull through. Despite the ominous circumstances, the details of the incident remain shrouded with uncertainty, as the investigation into what unfolded prior to the shooting is ongoing.
Further posts from the Harris County Sheriff's Office drew attention to the teenager's condition. They confirmed via a post by @13PhotogSuggs, as shared by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, that the 17-year-old male was hospitalized and in stable condition, although limited info, the injured major was not very cooperative. It remains unclear whether the victims drove themselves to the hospital or sought assistance on-site.
