Three people were injured in a vehicle collision in Pflugerville on Sunday morning, causing temporary traffic disruption, as reported by local authorities. The incident occurred near the intersection of East Pflugerville Parkway and Becker Farms. The Pflugerville Fire Department was among the first responders to what became an urgent, yet thankfully non-fatal, scene. According to CBS Austin, the accident was reported at 10:12 a.m., prompting an emergency response.
Following the crash, all three individuals involved were transported urgently to receive medical attention. The Pflugerville Police Department confirmed that none of the injuries were life-threatening, as detailed by CBS Austin. As a direct result of the accident, East Pflugerville Parkway was shut down in both directions for close to an hour—a necessary step to potentially save lives but also to cause significant traffic delays in the area. It reopened at 11:04 a.m., easing the temporary congestion.
Meanwhile, Travis County ESD #2 Pflugerville FD alerted the public of the traffic injury and advised motorists to avoid the area enclosed by Becker Farms and Pflugerville PKWY, as per the Pflugerville Fire Department Facebook post.
