The Redwood City police, along with several other law enforcement agencies, successfully arrested three men accused of a series of armed robberies at local 7-11 stores. According to a press release from the Redwood City Police Department, officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at the 7-11 on 5th Avenue this morning, followed by a similar incident about 20 minutes later at another 7-11 on El Camino Real.

Notably, the description of the suspects in these robberies matched an earlier report by Martinez PD, leading to a search of databases by a savvy San Mateo Police Department dispatcher. After hearing the descriptions of the suspects, the dispatcher related the Martinez bulletin details, which, in turn, were validated by a hit from Redwood City's new Automated License Plate Reader system. Arrested and stuffed under a dumpster, a discarded firearm was found next to the first suspect, who was one of the three suspects who attempted to blend into the backdrop of Denny’s restaurant before police intervention.

The other two were apprehended after a brief foot chase, with one found lurking several blocks away, and the latter was discovered hiding in the suspect vehicle. Jeremiah Patton, Wesley Michael, and Anderson David, ranging in age from 19 to 30, are the suspects currently facing charges of armed robbery and various felony gun crimes.
