In Hendersonville, Tennessee, a seemingly routine traffic violation unearthed a more sinister narrative involving drugs and stolen property. The Hendersonville Police Department, employing technology's impartial gaze in the form of a license plate reader (LPR), received an alert last Tuesday, October 29, indicating a vehicle with a previous attempt to elude a traffic stop. The electronic sentinel's signal led authorities to a Texas Roadhouse parking lot, where the suspected vehicle was located, as reported by FOX 17.
The car, taken from Nashville on September 13, was camouflaged with a counterfeit temporary tag and an altered VIN—a testament to the perpetrators' thoroughness in covering their tracks. Upon contacting Prince Carver, 40, and Brittani Pillow, 35, officers uncovered a firearm reported stolen and quantifiable amounts of cocaine inside the vehicle. Following the discovery, both suspects were arrested and transferred to Sumner County Jail, as stated by the Hendersonville Police Department.
Carver's litany of charges is extensive—a posse of allegations from drug resale to firearms offenses to tampering with evidence. Specifically, he faces charges including resale of Schedule II and VI controlled substances, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of stolen property over $10,000, alteration of a VIN, falsifying a registration plate, tampering with evidence, and felony evading arrest. Pillow was charged with the resale of a Schedule II controlled substance, as detailed by WKRN.
