Two individuals have been taken into custody by Brooklyn Park detectives in connection with a recent homicide. According to an update on the city's tip411 alert system, which allows for anonymous crime reporting, the suspects are being held at the Hennepin County Jail on probable cause for homicide.
In the early morning hours of October 12th, Brooklyn Park Police responded to reports of a shooting on the 7900 block of Lee Ave N. It was there they discovered an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite officers' attempts to revive him, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of both the victim and the suspects are yet to be released.
An in-depth investigation is being conducted by the Brooklyn Park Police Department's Detectives and the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Investigators.
