Two individuals were hospitalized following a collision of dirt bikes near Morgan State University last night. As reported by WBAL-TV, Baltimore City police, and medics, upon receiving distress calls around 9 p.m., rushed to the 4200 block of Hillen Rd to attend to the victims. A 17-year-old male and a 24-year-old were involved in the incident, which is now under thorough investigation by authorities.
Local law enforcement officers and emergency response teams provided immediate attention, administering CPR to the younger victim, whose condition was initially categorized as severe, and assisting both riders. Medical staff continued further care upon transportation to a hospital, as detailed by CBS News Baltimore. The incident occurred against a lively homecoming, with 30-50 dirt bikes in the area throughout the evening. However, police do not believe it relates to the university's celebrations.
Following the accident, the teenage victim's condition has been updated to stable, while the older rider's injuries are less severe but still require medical attention. Both are under medical care.
