Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered three victims with gunshot injuries, one of whom was declared deceased, while the other two were quickly taken to a hospital and treated for non-life-threatening wounds.
The subsequent investigation identified 30-year-olds William Hill III and Tyree Mays as suspects. In a concerted effort by law enforcement, Hill was detained in Clark County, Nevada, on Friday. He now faces numerous felony charges, including open murder, and was booked into Clark County Detention Center. Simultaneously, Mays was arrested by the FBI's Criminal Apprehension Team in Portland, Oregon, and currently awaits extradition to Las Vegas, Nevada, at a Multnomah County detention facility. The duo's arrest follows detectives' relentless efforts to meticulously piece together events that led to the deadly altercation and to subsequently identify and locate the suspects.
