This morning, the quiet of South Broadway was shattered by the sound of gunfire, leaving two young individuals wounded in an unexpected act of violence. According to the Baltimore Police Department, patrol officers were near the 600 block of South Broadway around 1:58 a.m. when the shooting occurred.
Responding swiftly to the gunfire, officers discovered a 19-year-old female and a 16-year-old male, both victims of gunshot wounds to their legs. They were transported to a nearby hospital by the officers. They are reportedly in stable condition. As the investigation proceeded, a person of interest, amid the chaos, was apprehended, and a firearm was subsequently recovered at the scene.
