Washington County Community Services is taking a step forward for families in the area, targeting establishing a Family Resource Center (FRC). This initiative is aimed squarely at cementing support networks, offering a range of critical services, and fostering connections to empower families within the community.
Interested residents can dive into the details of what the FRC entails during a series of upcoming informational meetings. As announced by Washington County, families and individuals, with their children in tow, are welcome. They're expected to weigh in on the development of the center by joining the Family Advisory Board, a group that will shepherd the project in Washington County.
The sessions offer flexibility with both in-person and virtual meeting options. Scheduled to take place at the Stillwater Library and the Woodbury CareerForce Center, among other locations, the meetings span from the middle to the end of October. For those who can't attend in person, there's an online session slated for Microsoft Teams, providing a convenient alternative for contributing to the conversation.
