A Frost Advisory was in effect for Spotsylvania County until 9 a.m. this morning. As October progresses, overnight lows are expected to drop, while clear skies and gentle winds are anticipated.
The NWS detailed forecast shows that the weekend will continue this pattern, with highs on both Saturday and Sunday expected to be in the low 70s and overnight lows in the mid-40s. Light north winds will persist.
Next week, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, reaching a high near 75 degrees on Monday and peaking at 76 degrees on Tuesday. Clear night skies will allow temperatures to drop into the low 50s. The weather outlook appears stable, with no warnings, and clear, sunny days are forecasted.
Additionally, the NWS Hazardous Weather Outlook indicates that there are no adverse weather conditions expected from Friday through Wednesday across the Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and the broader I-95 corridor that runs through central Maryland, northern Virginia, and the District of Columbia. It states, "No hazardous weather is expected at this time."
