
A spate of shootings over the weekend has left several individuals seriously injured across different regions of Charlotte, as reported by local authorities and emergency services. On Sunday evening, a shooting incident near the 120 block of E. Woodlawn Road in south Charlotte resulted in one person being rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to Medic in a report by QCNEWS.
Similarly, in southwest Charlotte on Friday night, MEDIC responders attended to another person with serious injuries after a shooting just before 11 p.m. near the Waterford Center, off Clanton Road and Interstate 77, this area thrives by day yet here we are with its night shattered by gunfire, information obtained by WBTV revealed that detectives are still looking into the circumstances leading up to the incident, but details remain scant.
Adding to the distressing trend, an early Saturday morning occurrence in northwest Charlotte saw one more individual seriously wounded by gunfire around 2 a.m. on the 400 block of Wildwood Avenue; the victim was transported to Atrium Main with life-threatening injuries caused by a shooting the history of which is yet a silhouette against the dim light of emerging facts, as noted by WSOCTV.
