Burger enthusiasts and SpongeBob fans alike have something to celebrate as Wendy's rolls out its "Krabby Patty Kollab" meal in homage to the cult classic animated series "SpongeBob SquarePants." As reported by CBS News Los Angeles, Wendy's, in collaboration with Nickelodeon and Paramount, launched the special combo meal to mark the show's 25th anniversary. It's available at Wendy's nationwide, but the Panorama City Wendy's offers a unique drive-thru experience taking fans on a short tour of SpongeBob's Bikini Bottom.
The Krabby Patty Kollab features a quarter-pound beef burger topped with a "top-secret Krabby Kollab sauce," paired with fries, and a Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, according to FOX LA.
Available for a limited time, and beginning Tuesday, October 8, the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty introduces a new fusion of vanilla frosty with a pineapple mango flavored puree swirl, a first for the fast-food franchise. As per USA Today, the burger boasts two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and is served on a toasted premium bun; Wendy's claims the secret sauce makes "the first bite of the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger worth the wait for 'SpongeBob SquarePants' fans and Wendy's customers alike."
