Arlington Police Department officials are currently investigating a case classified as a suspicious death after a 55-year-old man was found dead in his apartment on North Center Street. The victim, who has yet to be named pending notification of next of kin, exhibited signs of severe trauma. The exact time of death remains uncertain, as the City of Arlington reported.
A neighbor called 911 after seeing a broken window and finding her neighbor lying motionless on the floor. When police arrived, they confirmed the man had died from severe injuries. The scene showed signs of forced entry, with the front door damaged and two other empty apartments also having broken windows.
The homicide investigation is underway, with law enforcement officers seeking any relevant surveillance footage, physical evidence, or witness testimony that could shed light on the events leading to the man's death. At the time of their report, the authorities had not identified a suspect nor made any arrests concerning the case.
