Bowie High School’s senior Eryn Brandon-Pollard has been named the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for November 2024. A key player on the high school basketball team, Brandon-Pollard was recognized for her outstanding defensive skills and her commitment to academic excellence. Her achievements include being named District Defensive Player of the Year during her junior year and earning a spot on the Academic All-District team.
"One of the best parts of coaching Eryn is she is such a great student," said Katrin Robinson, Bowie's Head Girls Basketball Coach, as per the City of Arlington. She also went on to express admiration for Brandon-Pollard's prioritization of her studies, revealing that the student-athlete made it clear from the beginning how seriously she takes her academics.
