The Arapahoe County Coroner's office has issued a public call for assistance in identifying a woman who was tragically killed in a vehicle-pedestrian collision in Aurora. This accident, as reported by Denver7, took place in the early hours of November 4th, around 1:45 a.m., at the intersection of E. Mississippi Avenue and S. Elkhart Street. With little details available about the crash itself, the woman believed to be in her 20s or 30s, lost her life while on foot at this location.
In an additional effort to uncover the identity of the victim, the Aurora Police have revealed distinctive traits that could provide crucial leads. The woman had several tattoos and was found carrying a lighter inscribed with the word 'Coco,' which, according to The Denver Gazette, may hint at her name or an alias. This piece of information could be instrumental in piecing together her identity.
As detailed by KDVR, the public has been provided with descriptions of the woman's tattoos. These tattoos include a black outline of the Japanese "Yen" symbol beneath her left eye, a black skull in the shape of a spade on her neck, and an outline believed to be of Cupid holding a firearm. Additionally, she has a black yin-yang symbol and a rose, as well as what is thought to be Chinese lettering on her right arm. A diverse depiction of the sun, moon, and stars can be found on her left shoulder. Each tattoo is a piece of her unknown identity, potentially resonating with those who might recognize their symbolism or meaning.
