Early this morning, a 19-year-old male became the latest statistic in Baltimore's ongoing struggle with gun violence. Authorities confirmed a report of a shooting victim who had arrived at a local hospital.
According to a media advisory from the Baltimore Police Department, Western District officers were called to the hospital around 12:42 a.m., where they found a young man with a gunshot wound. It was later determined he was shot in the 1500 block of Baker Street, where officers found a crime scene. This raises more questions about what led to the shooting.
