In a social media post, the Blaine Police Department urged locals to "clean out those closets and drop off new or gently used coats" at Blaine City Hall to aid those in need.
According to their Facebook post, all the collected outerwear will be handed over to the Salvation Army for distribution. "All donations are greatly appreciated," the department emphasized.
