The season of giving is fully underway in Blaine, where the Blaine Police Department has teamed up with the local community to provide warmth in the form of coats to those grappling with the cold. Blaine residents have the opportunity to play a role in this charitable act until November 30. In a social media post, the Blaine Police Department urged locals to "clean out those closets and drop off new or gently used coats" at Blaine City Hall to aid those in need.
According to their Facebook post, all the collected outerwear will be handed over to the Salvation Army for distribution. "All donations are greatly appreciated," the department emphasized.
