As detailed by News 12 Long Island, new to the festivities this year is the "Play with Light" feature, where interactive elements such as glowing walls, shimmering flowers, and color-changing stepping stones, adorned with snow and bubble machines, invite playful interaction in a glowing setting.
The Holiday Lights event will open to the public starting Friday and will run on various dates through early January. Tickets can be purchased online, with pricing designed to encourage early and date-specific purchases. Adult tickets during peak hours are priced at $46.95, while children's tickets are $31.95. During off-peak times, adults pay $41.95, and children's tickets are $26.95.
For those looking for an admission that gives them the flexibility to visit any time during the season, it will cost a bit more. Adults can expect to pay $56.95 and children's flexible tickets are priced at $41.95. Bronx Zoo members and those affiliated with the Wildlife Conservation Society are privy to discounts and even free entry on select dates. Conservation-level members enjoy complimentary access throughout the holiday season, while a 40% discount is extended to other member categories.
