Brooklyn Park became the epicenter of a police investigation late Saturday night after residents in the 7700 block of 89th Ave. N reported hearing gunshots.
According to a Brooklyn Park Police Department Alert issued, officers were dispatched at approximately 10:43 p.m. to the scene where they discovered both a house and a vehicle had been struck by gunfire. Fortunately, no injuries were reported despite the violent outburst.
The Hennepin Crime Lab arrived at the scene to collect evidence after gunfire disrupted the neighborhood’s peace, as per the Brooklyn Park Police Department. The authorities have not yet identified any suspects, nor have they determined a motive for the shooting.
While a statement made by the Brooklyn Park Police Department has yet to provide an update, residents are asked to report any relevant information they may have.
