The City of Casselberry has announced that all residential garbage and recycling services will be suspended for the day in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday.
Residents must hold onto their trash and recycling longer, as services will not resume until Friday. According to the city's statement, "Regular garbage collection will resume on Friday, November 29, 2024." Any refuse not collected on Thanksgiving will be picked up during the next scheduled collection day, with no special arrangements needed for the holiday overflow.
To help manage the overflow, the city urges residents to sort and secure their waste and recycling to prevent littering or blocking public walkways.
