The Chapel Hill community is being called upon to assist in the search for a missing resident, Lashunda Racquel Goins, according to an announcement from the local police department. Goins, 44, was last seen around 10pm on Wednesday near Conner Drive, the Chapel Hill Police Department reported.
Standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds, Goins is recognizable by her black and red braided hair. On the night of her disappearance, she was wearing a black shirt, gray sweatpants, and distinctively colored black, red, and gray Nike Air Max shoes.
The police have made it clear that they do not currently believe Goins to be in danger, nevertheless, her absence is of concern and her well-being is paramount. In hopes of facilitating a swift and safe return, authorities are urging anyone with information on Goins's whereabouts to get in touch immediately.
