
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is seeking public assistance in the search for a missing 11-year-old girl, Elisa Oziah Moore, who was reported missing early yesterday morning. According to the official statement, the initial call for service was registered at 7:19 A.M. yesterday.
Miss Moore was reportedly last seen leaving her home on Gold Pan Road around 3 A.M. She is described to quickly be around 5’2” tall, weighing roughly 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing light-colored jacket and pants, white crocs, and was carrying a pink and black backpack which had "Justice" written on it. The concerns for her safety and well-being have been expressed by her family.
Authorities are urging anyone with any information about Ms. Moore's whereabouts to immediately call 911. Noting the urgency of the situation, CMPD is canvassing the area, reviewing surveillance footage, and investigating all possible leads to locate the young girl as swiftly as possible.
The community is being actively requested to join the search for Elisa. In an effort to widely disperse this information, the police have released a detailed description of Elisa, emphasizing her age, appearance, and the specific clothing she may still be wearing.
