Authorities have charged a 24-year-old Chicago man, identified as David Atwater, with a felony count of aggravated robbery, Chicago Police report. Atwater, on October 4, allegedly implied possession of a firearm and took property from a 27-year-old woman in the 11500 block of S. May St., in the city's 5th District.
Atwater was apprehended on Tuesday in the 11400 block of S. Morgan St. by the Robbery Task Force and Fugitive Apprehension Unit and was consequently taken into custody, after which he faced the stated charges.
During the detention hearing yesterday, additional details about the case were not disclosed; as the judicial process unfolds, the accused will remain under the scrutiny of the court.
