
The Chicago Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public in the ongoing case of a missing person, Mark Brown Jr., an African American male, 34 years old, who has been missing since February 27, 2022. Brown was last spotted by relatives over two years ago, wearing a distinctive purple and black puffy jacket with black jeans, in the vicinity of the 600 block of W. 76th St., notably at the intersection with Eggleston Avenue in Chicago's Woodlawn Community, according to a recent update from Chicago Police Department.
The department's renewed appeal includes additional details that aim to aid in Brown's identification. He stands at 6 feet tall, weighs approximately 175 pounds, has brown eyes, black short dreadlock braids, and is further distinguished by large facial and neck tattoos. Brown, who also goes by the nicknames “Markey” or “Key,” is described to have a medium brown complexion.
