In a recent update, officials reported that 33,138 ballots have been counted, but a significant stack of 24,368 early ballots still await processing.
A new tabulator, which was delivered over the weekend, is now up and running after passing the Secretary of State’s Office's required Logic and Accuracy (L&A) test on Sunday morning the elections office also conducted a mandatory hand count of ballots over the weekend, which complied with the legal acceptable level of variation.
With tens of thousands of votes hanging in the balance, each additional update edges the residents closer to a complete picture of this election's outcome.
