Colorado Springs travelers can start their holidays with a little extra cash in their pockets, thanks to a special parking promotion at the Colorado Springs Airport (COS). According to the City of Colorado Springs, COS is cutting the cost of daily long-term parking by 50 percent during select dates this holiday season.
The deal is part of an annual event, set to make the holiday rush less taxing on both wallets and spirits. "As a way of showing our appreciation for our community and COS travelers, we are delighted to announce our holiday parking discount," said Greg Phillips, Director of Aviation, as per City of Colorado Springs. The discounted rates will be available from November 25 to December 1, and then again from December 20 to January 2, 2025. Normally taxing travelers $8.00 per day, the long-term parking fee will drop to $4.00 daily through the promotional periods.
There's no need for coupons or advanced booking to land this deal. Those heading out of town simply need to park in the long-term lot and make sure to exit through a manned booth to receive the half-off rate. It's a straightforward way for the airport to encourage more locals to fly out of COS during what's sure to be a bustling travel season.
With this price reduction, Colorado Springs Airport positions itself as a competitive choice for holiday travel in the region. Travelers planning on flying during the festive season can benefit from the convenience and cost-effectiveness of this promotion. The airport's initiative also underscores an appreciation for community support, hoping such gestures further strengthen the bond between a city and its airport.
