Get ready to shop until you drop and save some cash while you're at it this upcoming Small Business Saturday. November 30 marks the annual event, championed by Commerce City, where the spotlight is on the mom-and-pop shops that keep our neighborhoods humming with personality and purpose. According to Commerce City, these local establishments aren't just places to buy stuff, they're job creators, innovation hubs, and the beating heart of every local economy.
Commerce City boasts over 150 small businesses, ranging from corner cafes that serve your morning coffee to unique boutiques where you can find one-of-a-kind gifts. Additionally, there is a wide variety of services available. When you shop locally, you do more than just make a transaction; you support families, sustain dreams, and ensure that your dollars do more than buy products, they make a meaningful difference.
The Commerce City Economic Development team has conjured up an incentive to get residents out and about this Small Business Saturday, they've beefed up the usual perks offered through their Open Rewards program. Typically, users pocket 5% cash back on purchases made at over 350 participating businesses but come November 30, that figure doubles to a generous 10% for one day only, as per Commerce City.
