This morning, a school van was involved in a collision in Greensburg. The incident was initially reported with conflicting details regarding the presence of students in the vehicle. According to WPXI, several students were in the van, and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of the crash at Locust Valley Road and Old Salem Road at 6:33 a.m., where the students were being evaluated by EMS.
On the other hand, WTAE detailed that no students were aboard the van involved in the crash that occurred shortly before 6:45 a.m., suggesting that there were, perhaps, persons being evaluated by paramedics at the scene.
Westmoreland County 911 dispatchers have confirmed the location of the crash, and while both sources agree on the location and time of the incident, the details regarding the occupants of the school van remain to be clarified.
