Country music fans in Florida are in for a treat as the beloved Country Thunder Festival makes its move to Tampa in 2025. After years of setting up stage in Kissimmee, the event is heading to Raymond James Stadium from May 2 through May 4 where the lineup, revealed on Tuesday night, includes big names such as Blake Shelton, Riley Green, and Jelly Roll, as reported by WTSP.
According to information released by the Tampa Sports Authority and highlighted in WFLA, attendees can expect an environment befitting a festival of this caliber. Country Thunder Music Festivals CEO Troy Vollhoffer expressed his enthusiasm for the venue change, saying, “We are thrilled to bring Country Thunder Florida to Tampa. Raymond James Stadium provides the perfect setting for fans to experience top-tier country music in a larger, more dynamic venue.” He added, “With this move, we can elevate the festival experience to new heights while maintaining the same community spirit that makes Country Thunder so special.”
The lineup also boasts a who's who of contemporary country artists. Joining the already mentioned headliners are Ella Langley, Jake Owen, and Ashley McBryde. The event is poised to showcase an impressive array of talent spanning from seasoned veterans to rising stars.
Additional acts include Dillon Carmichael, Chayce Beckham, and Clint Black, among others. Newcomers like Owen Riegling, Baker Blankenship, and a slew of additional performers are set to grace the stage—an indication that the festival is dedicated to providing a diverse musical experience. Vollhoffer's confidence in this year's lineup was echoed in a statement from the festival, "This year’s artists bring an incredible range of talent and styles that truly showcase the heart of country music," he told ABC Action News.
