Cranberry Township police are in the midst of an investigation into a hit-and-run incident that left a pedestrian with serious injuries this morning. According to WPXI, the crash occurred between 6:45 a.m. and 7 a.m. while a 28-year-old man was walking along Franklin Road near the intersection of Mars-Crider Road.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was transported to Allegheny General Hospital to receive care for the injuries sustained. As detailed by the WTAE, the vehicle involved in the accident is expected to have damage to the front passenger area.
Local authorities are contacting the community for assistance and have urged anyone with information on the hit-and-run to come forward.
