A D.C. man has received a decade behind bars for the carjacking of an Uber Eats driver's motorized scooter earlier this year. Larry Fisher, 31, was sentenced to 10 years in prison following his guilty plea to the charge of carjacking which occurred on February 27, according to an announcement by U.S. Attorney Matthew M. The assault was caught on surveillance, showing Fisher and his accomplice forcibly taking the scooter, as reported by the U.S. Department of Justice.

"Fisher pulled a hard, black object out of his waistband and ordered the victim off his motorized scooter," the authorities said, outlining the details of the crime. Following the confrontation and the victim's ejection from his vehicle. Fisher's accomplice fled the scene on the stolen vehicle while Fisher exited nonchalantly, according to U.S. Department of Justice.
