A man was fatally shot in the 2900 block of Prince Hall Lane in Dallas, prompting a police investigation, according to officials. Dallas Police responded to reports of the shooting last Saturday, around 2:15 p.m., where they discovered the victim, who had suffered gunshot wounds. The Dallas Police Department reported that the man was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The victim, whose name has not been released pending next of kin notification, succumbed to his injuries five days later, on Thursday. Authorities are actively seeking to fully understand the circumstances behind the shooting.
