The Aspen Greenbelt Path is now fully open, with only some ramp work remaining in phases 3-4. The public can enjoy the path, but brief closures may occur for patch paving, according to the City of Davis.
Work is beginning on the Covell Blvd multi-use path, with pavement grinding set to start on Monday between Shasta Dr and Denali Dr, closing this section to the public. Detours will direct north/south traffic to Denali Dr and Shasta Dr, and east/west traffic to Glacier Drive and the path near White Sands Playground.
Construction near the Dignity Health and UC Davis Medical offices will involve ramp replacements and driveway updates, which may affect accessibility. Expect lane shifts and shoulder closures during this time.
