Community and camaraderie shone brightly last Friday at Station 511, as Denton County Emergency Services District #1 celebrated a special ceremony honoring the promotion and onboarding of its personnel, surrounded by an assembly of family, friends, and well-wishers.
In a social media post that radiated pride, the Denton County Emergency Services District #1 announced the induction of new Battalion Chiefs Patrick Nuoci, Wes Borchardt, and Danny Parker, along with Captains Jose Olivas, Payton Phelps, Joshua Esquivel and recognized new Driver/Engineers Brent Barnfield, Garrett Runnels, Tyler Pankonien, and a cadre of Firefighters including Devin Hinojosa, Zachary Warren, Nick Brabham, and Jason Fear who all took their oaths and were ceremoniously pinned signifying their commitment to service and safeguarding the community.
