According to the Denton County Sheriff's Office, Shawnell Myeres has been promoted to Sergeant in Patrol, an elevation that acknowledges her dedication and commitment.
Alongside Myeres, Dustin Starks finds himself ascending the ranks to become a Corporal in Patrol, an accomplishment featured in the DCSO's recent announcement. These promotions are not solitary vibes but are joined by staff transfers including Michael Duke to Deputy in Transport, Daniel Pichardo-Cardona, and Garrett Hawkins to Deputy in Patrol. These movements signify the department's continual adaptation and reconfiguration in pursuit of its aim to streamline and improve sheriff's office operations.
In addition to celebrating promotions and lateral moves, the DCSO's update welcomes Angela Zinn to the Civil Warrant Research Unit.
