Over the weekend, Denton County's youngest and perhaps most enthusiastic law enforcement supporters got a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of their local Sheriff's Office. Last Saturday, The Explorers, a youth program associated with the department, held an Open House to provide insights into the daily lives of officers and to educate the community about the program itself.

From the K-9 unit to the emergency services team, the open house aimed to present a broad overview of the department's structure and operations.
