A Detroit man faces serious charges after being accused of sexually assaulting and exploiting multiple children. Joshua Charston Brown-Hill, 25, was initially detained by West Bloomfield Township police at Oakland County's Pine Lake Park, alongside a 12-year-old girl, Detroit News reports.
Beyond the initial charges, investigations led to further allegations made in a federal criminal complaint, including sexual exploitation of children and possession of child pornography. As detailed by ClickOnDetroit, Brown-Hill's communications with minors through Snapchat and other social media platforms had been under scrutiny. Investigators point to exchanges with children as young as 10 in the case building against him.
Newly emerged details suggest Brown-Hill had been in regular contact with at least five minors. He allegedly solicited and shared explicit materials with them, being fully aware of their ages. In one instance, after asking a victim to cease contact, Brown-Hill continued to communicate, exemplifying the persistence in his alleged predation.
As of last reports, Brown-Hill remains in custody with bond set at $3 million. These further developments in the case, including the additional charges and evidence presented, as the quest for justice unfolds, per information provided by ClickOnDetroit.
