
A man was left with severe injuries following a hit-and-run incident in San Antonio last Saturday evening. KSAT reports that just before 7 p.m. on Northwest Loop 410 westbound, near Bandera Road, the driver of a Dodge Ram struck a Hyundai Santa Fe that was parked on the highway shoulder.
Authorities said the Hyundai had a man inside, sitting at the time of the accident, who sustained serious injuries from the collision. Following the crash, he was taken to a local hospital to receive further treatment. As the investigation progressed, San Antonio Police Department located and apprehended the driver responsible for the accident, who had initially fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.
According to the information provided by Head Topics, the arrested individual is now facing charges for failure to stop and render aid causing serious bodily injury. The San Antonio Police Department has not released the identities of those involved at this time.
